What these prices tell you
These are the quarterly average gas prices reported in AEMO’s Quarterly Energy Dynamics market comparison tables, rounded to cents per GJ. Wholesale prices do not include a household’s full gas bill or represent a quoted long-term supply contract. The GSH series retains the report’s label; no individual delivery point or product is inferred.
Markets have different scheduling and trading arrangements. We reproduce published averages without recalculating interval weighting or treating all series as interchangeable. This first release has no demand, production, storage, LNG netback or forecasts.
